City Lights Hotel

We believe that people need and desire community.

The pandemic brought a time of uncertainty and fear for our friends experiencing homelessness. During that time City Lights stepped up and partnered with the City of Tulsa and other financial supporters to open and operate the City Lights Hotel. This provided a dignified place for our vulnerable neighbors to safely isolate and socially distance. The City Lights Hotel operated from May 2020 to April 2022 and provided hundreds of our most vulnerable friends living on the streets with a place of safety, dignity, healing, and hope. The hotel served over 400 people, provided a safe place for 250 positive cases of Covid to heal, and helped 127 of our medically vulnerable friends move into permanent housing.
