Lenard was a resident at City Lights Hotel from August 2021 to March 2022. He was referred there from the Salvation Army. Being a spokesman for the homeless allows him to shed light on situations through experience. Lenard came from a family that worked hard. He was taught good morals and principles. However, he knows what it feels like to hit rock bottom. He is an overcomer of a massive heart attack. He will be a positive input to City Lights.

City Lights assisted with Lenards first month's rent and now he lives in an apartment. He has a poster on his wall that reads, "From City Lights Hotel... to home. Next to it is a picture of the staff members that assisted him through his residential stay at the hotel.

"I have nothing but high expectations for City Lights, an organization that helps the homeless in various ways. I am looking forward to the future plans."
